AI GLOSSARY

Machine Learning

Machine learning refers to systems which are able to learn and improve from relevant datasets without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence that involves training algorithms to recognise patterns and make decisions based on data. Instead of being explicitly programmed, machine learning models learn from examples and improve their performance over time. It is used in a wide range of applications, from fraud detection to predictive maintenance.
