AI GLOSSARY

Bias

Bias in AI refers to any preference or inclination that influences the outcomes of a model, which can be either beneficial or harmful. On the negative side, bias can lead to unfair or skewed results when the training data reflects societal inequalities or incorrect assumptions. However, certain types of bias, like inductive bias, are essential for AI to function.
